Valentine Tea for me (Valentine Tea #3)

IF YOU HAVE COME TO BEYOND THE GARDEN GATE TO VISIT MY "GROW YOUR BLOG" PARTY POST WITH GIVEAWAY, PLEASE CLICK HERE.

Valentine's Day is coming! I like the decor, I like the spirit of love, and I like the chocolate! A little tea for one need not be fancy - just a pretty teacup, a nosh, and an opportunity to sit down and relax.

This is 'Dogwood' by Heinrich H & C. Like many of my dishes, it is thrifted.

The blossoms put me in the mood for spring!

The salad plate is decorated beautifully.

Sugar cubes and "gold" tongs look pretty on the table.

 My cow creamer

In my cup today, Creamy Hazelnut from Miss Spenser's Special-Teas, an authentic English tea room near New Virginia, Iowa. Many of you are familiar with Miss Spenser, who blogs here.

Back to the Creamy Hazelnut tea, it is DELICIOUS! You can order this or any of their many fabulous teas by mail by going to their website (first link in sentences above).

I like flavored teas, many which could be considered "dessert" teas (but without the calories)! With a dessert tea, one might want to add a bit of milk and/or sweetener. It's especially fun if you add the milk with a cow creamer! lol

My nosh isn't fancy, but it does have a Valentine theme.  :)    It's Little Debbie Red Velvet cakes.

Tea and a tiny cake or cookie makes a great afternoon snack.
