Meet Josey Rose
I am happy to report that Josey Rose has arrived!
Josey is a 7 1/2 week old Miniature Schnauzer.
Josey came home Saturday. She is doing fairly well with potty training, likes to explore, and absolutely adores being held.
Josey has her own play pen, which, of course, she DOESN'T love. Being contained is an issue for her and we are hopeful that she will soon be able to settle herself down and entertain herself in a crate or play pen.

New Year's greetings to you! Josey is so adorable; my daughter has a mini-miniature Schnauzer(only 8-9 lbs) and she is such a smart dog.

Oh Beth, I have been waiting patiently to see your new baby girl and she is so adorable! A playpen is a good idea for a little one until they're trained.
I hope to see lots more photos of her in future posts, or you can just tuck them in an email. :-)

Congratulations Beth!!! Josey Rose is adorable!!!! What a fabulous way to welcome the New Year. As a proud mama, I can tell you furbabies make a home. Our Gabbana will be 1 at the end of January and she is finally starting to settle down ...Her brother Dolce will be 3 in April and I had forgotten that it takes 12 months for them to "mature" a little.
Enjoy Josey Rose these little babies grow up fast .... before you know it she will be an obedient little lady...

Thank you for sharing the tour of the Iowa's governor's mansion as well as the beautiful decorations at your home...loved the pretty plates & cookies but most of all, I thought your SNOW photos were spectacular! I must try going OUT in it someday soon to capture photos...I mostly take them from INSIDE. LOL

Beth, Josey is a beauty. I have never seen an all black before. I know what you are going through and it was quite a shock to have a puppy again. Duffy doesn't like his crate either, hope this changes soon.
