Welcome to my Valentine tea!
I made brownies and used my heart cookie cutter to make these chocolate hearts. The plate is 'Landon' by Noritake.
I added a scoop of French Vanilla ice cream topped with cherry pie filling. The plate is from Mary Engelbreit, who creates such cheerful designs. Cheerful chocolate and cherries!
These are my Valentine placemats. I have some just like these for St. Patrick's Day too.
Today's tea is Coconut Chai from Zhena's Gypsy Tea. I got this tea for Christmas from my daughter.
A bouquet of store-bought tulips would add a springy touch to the Valentine's Day table.
This is a Valentine's Day card tree; I took this photo two Valentine's Days ago at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden.

Hello Beth, love the heart shaped brownies and the delicate pink tulips. Your china is exquisite, too.
And that little Josey is adorable! She is the same color as our dog, Pudding.
Good morning Beth,
That china looks like Mary Engelbreit. When you made the brownies, did you make them in a square or rectangular pan and then use the cookie cutter? That makes for great tasting along the way.:)
It is a happy teatime treat!
Best, Ruthie
Everything looks so pretty in pink! I would just love a brownie. Josey is so adorable Beth.

What a bunch of prettiness! Our daughter will be 31 February 3rd. We used to have Valentine themed birthday parties for her.
Those tulips remind me of a clump I have in my front yard.
Hi Beth, I love all the Valentine's decorations! I've never had that type of Chai tea(but I love Chai so will look for it). Hope you have a wonderful evening. Hugs,Noreen
What a great garden blog! I, too am a passionate gardener. I am now a follower, and going to grab your badge for my blog!
Hope you'll stop by Two Crow Cottage for a visit!
I should tell my daughter about this - her husband LOVE's brownies and shaped as hearts would be sweet! Love Mary Engelbreit -she had a delightful whimisical way of bringing her art, houseware and quotes together -miss her magazine!
I do appreciate you sharing with A Return to Loveliness,

Hello Beth,
What a beautiful Valentine tea! I love that you cut the brownies out in the heart shape, such a fab idea! The cheery place mats and tea cups are perfect for Valentine's Day.
You are inspiring me to pretty up my dining room table for tea too!

My friend has those same cherry dishes. She's a huge Mary Engelbreit fan. We give a lot of afternoon teas, and we did one with a Mary Engelbreit theme in my gazebo last summer. Love your flower photos!
Such a darling tea setting! Your ME cups & plates are adorable & those brownies looks soooo good right now.
I have brownies in the cupboard. Just need to put ice cream on my shopping list. Yummo!
I always enjoy hearing about the various teas you enjoy, Beth. most are very new to me, too.
Hugs,
Rett
Hi Beth, hopped over from Bernideens Tea Time. Cute idea to make the brownies heart shaped. I think I will make some for part of my grandies Valentine gift. The card tree is so fun. Thanks for sharing.
