This is one of the display beds that is changed seasonally at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Center. The current display says "spring."
Cyclamen
A hot pink cyclamen
I'm not sure what this flower is, but I found it very pretty.
A favorite of mine: primula
Pink it is...and, well, purple too.
Until it's really spring here in the Midwest, I'll continue to enjoy spending time enjoying warmth and color under the dome at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden.

this makes me wish for spring. gorgeous blooms. ( :
Hi Beth
You're lucky to have a place to enjoy the colours and scents of spring now. I use a lot of pinks inside and out.
Hugs,
Judith
It's always fun to visit "domes" when winter gets to me... Milwaukee has three at Mitchell Park... one is seasonal, one tropical, and one desert.
Very pretty flowers! I enjoyed seeing them and thinking about what lies around the corner! We got dumped on... more snow than I expected but it should be good protection for the gardens with colder temps on their way... Larry
Wow...didn't know about this. So beautiful, Beth. Thanks for sharing! Is pink really popular this year, or is it just my imagination?? It seems to be popping up everywhere in all categories...hmmm. Hugs to you and Good Grief - stay warm today and tomorrow!! ;-) **if only this shivering would take off some unwanted extra pounds!! xo
I have always enjoyed visiting gardens....the color is stunning!

Awwww, I can almost FEEL the humidity inside there & I know I can smell all the fragrances!
I've got a white cyclamen that is blooming its head off in the sunroom. Now, after seeing these, I wish I had a pink one, too!
Thanks for sharing these wonderful photos.
Such beauty! I love the water drops showing up on the flowers. Ah, the colors-glorious!!

Hi Beth,
Always love seeing flowers, so cheery for this time of years especially.
Beautiful photos.
We were laughing the other day about our backyard flowers, we have azaleas bougainvilla, and lantana, blooming and poinsettias still blooming, and a tree that has filled up with new leaves. Our weather has confused all the plants and flowers this year.
Course, we don't mind some color in the backyard.
Take Care, Hope all is well with you and yours hon,
Blessings, Nellie
